Cancer Therapies for APPs: A Comprehensive Review (On-Demand) 2026
Overview
Over the past several decades, cancer therapy has evolved from conventional chemotherapy to targeted agents, immunotherapy, and other novel approaches. To help APPs and other clinicians navigate how these therapies are used to treat solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, Horizon CME has developed Cancer Therapies for APPs: A Comprehensive Review (On-Demand). In this on-demand program, clinicians will gain understanding of the various classes of cancer therapy, their mechanisms of action, safety profiles, and applicability in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Participation in this program will provide APPs with the practical knowledge they need to provide support and care for patients with cancer.

- Describe the mechanisms of action of approved therapies for treating hematologic malignancies and solid tumors
- Assess the efficacy and safety of available therapies used to treat patients with cancer
- Differentiate between the methods of administration for current cancer therapies
- Apply best practices for managing and mitigating potential adverse effects in patients undergoing cancer treatment
Target Audience
This activity is intended for oncology nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, nurse navigators, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers involved in the care of cancer patients.
