Faculty

Bryon Allen, FNP-BC

Hello, my name is Bryon Allen and I am a native Oregonian. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oregon State University. My second Bachelor’s in Nursing is from the University of Northern Colorado. I then went on to obtain my Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

I worked as an RN in several Medical Intensive Care Units for approximately 5 years, lastly here at OHSU, prior to joining our Center of Hematologic Malignancies group as a Nurse Practitioner. I have worked with patients going through an allogeneic bone marrow transplant, autologous stem cell transplant, CAR-T therapy, our Adolescent and Young Adult patients with Acute Leukemias, and most recently with patients who have CML or a MPN.

In my off time, I enjoy hiking, reading, homebrewing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest, including Eastern Oregon, with my wife, two children, and our pug, Mindy.

Reid Fillman, PA-C

My name is Reid, I am an inpatient PA at OHSU in the heme onc and bone marrow transplant unit. I went to OHSU for PA school and am very thankful to continue working at this institution. I love heme onc because it is such a human focused field that allows you to practice at the top of your scope while also connecting with patients on an emotional level. Outside of work I volunteer as a medic for a young adult cancer survivor surf camp, bike as often as possible, and road trip around the PNW with my wife and two dogs.
